Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend Blaine Roland Collins passed away on November 6, 2010, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 31, 1943 in Birmingham, England to Roland Fredrick and Evelyn Hingley Collins. Married Cherie Lynn Evans April 23, 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Blaine retired from Salt Lake City Fire Department. He had a great love for motorcycling, snowmobiling, watching and playing sports and his pets. He loved to work with his hands and weld, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family at their cabin in the mountains near Scofield. He also enjoyed his winters spent in Mesquite. Survived by wife Cherie, three children Corey Collins, Carey Collins and Mecell (Matt) Frankovich; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters Rosalie (Dale) Losser and Cindy (Jeff) Hansen and brother Glen (Arlene) Collins. Preceded in death by parents and brother Russell Collins. Graveside services will be held Friday at 12 noon in the Mt. View Cemetery in Helper, Utah. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. Riverton, Utah. Online condolences www.broomheadfuneralhome.com
