Dennis Lynn Damjanovich
May 8, 1948 - September 23, 2011

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and son Dennis Lynn Damjanovich passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 23, 2011. Dennis was born May 8, 1948 in Murray, Utah to Dan and Marion Damjanovich.
His working career began at the age of ten when he went to work at the Fitzgerald Dairy Farm in Draper. Dennis graduated from Jordan High School in 1966. He worked for the S.L. County Sheriff’s office before joining the S.L. County Fire Department where he worked until his retirement in August of 2000.
Dennis enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father, brother and uncles. He loved camping and spending time outdoors with his family, especially at his property in Salina, Utah.
Survived by his wife of 39 years, Sandy (Holt) Damjanovich, daughters Katie (Chris) Pettipiece, Kristy Damjanovich, son James “J.R.” Johnson, grandson Travis with whom Dennis had a special relationship, mother Marion, brother Duane and his sister Linda (Jim) Zagarich along with many other friends and relatives.
Proceeded in death by his father Dan Damjanovich.
The family would like to thank the Unified Fire Department, many of whom were his friends, for their care and assistance.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So).
