John Robert Reif "Bob"
1949 ~ 2007

Our loving father, husband, brother, son and grandfather, John Robert Reif, 57, passed away suddenly on May 1, 2007 in Salt Lake City after a long courageous battle with cancer. Bob, the eldest son, was born June 26, 1949 to John Christopher and Rebecca Moyer Reif. Bob was a retired Firefighter and EMT with 30 years of service to the Salt Lake City Fire Department. We miss his laugh, his loving hugs and his joking personality. His absence leaves a void in our hearts and in our homes. Dad we love you and miss you so very much. Bob is survived by his loving wife Elenna; children Angelique Weeks, Billy Reif (Katey), Nick Reif; grandchildren, Britton Weeks, Abby and Rachel Reif and upcoming twin grandsons; parents; sisters Vicki Shary (Rock), Patty Henderson (Spencer), brother Steve Reif (Linda); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his numerous friends at the Fire Stations he worked at during the years, Nick Klinger and family, his friend Keith, and his Nascar buddys at the Granite Club. We also would like to thank Dr. Ackerley and Nurses and Staff at the Huntsman Cancer Center for the never ending love and support with Bob during his treatments, Bob thought the world of all of you. The family truly appreciates all that you have done. Funeral Services will held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W., Riverton, Utah where friends may also call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment Lindon Cemetery.
