Ronald Nelson Russell, 67, passed away April 16, 2012 in Manti. He married the love of his life Marilyn Bennett on February 10, 1964.
He diligently worked for Salt Lake County Fire Department/Unified Fire Authority for 37 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping with family and friends. He dedicated much time to working in the South Jordan and Manti temples. Among his greatest accomplishments were his grandchildren with whom he cherished spending time.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn, children Debra (Steve) Cox, Steven (Jenny) Russell, Todd (Crystal) Russell, Wade (Brittny) Russell and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Manti Tabernacle, 90 S Main, where friends may call Saturday from 11:00-12:30. Burial will be in the Manti Cemetery.
