Virgil Deon Woolsey, Sr.
"Gone Fishing"
Vigil Deon Woolsey, Sr. (Red) died November 28, 2010, in Salt Lake City, Utah from natural causes. Born March 17, 1916, in Centerfield, Utah to Merrill Woolsey and Vada Anderson Woolsey. Worked for Snow White Egg Co. for over 20 years and retired as a fireman for Salt Lake County Fire Department, after 33 years of service. Married to Anna E. Jensen Woolsey for 58 years. Survivors: Shirley Ann Thompson (daughter), Gordon E. Thompson (son-in-law), Virgil D. Woolsey, Jr. (son, deceased), Kelly Woolsey (daughter-in-law), Ray I. Woolsey (twin son), Kay M. Woolsey (twin son) and Bernice Woolsey Pepper (sister). 14 grand kids; 29 great-grand kids, and three great-great-grand kids. Friends and family may call on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at a viewing from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street.
