In Memory . . .

James Richard Conlon
6/22/1926 ~ 03/06/2013

Jim was born, lived and died in the Sugarhouse area of Salt Lake City. He was a World War II Air Force veteran and attended the Nuremberg War Trials. He was a SLC firefighter for 32 years and volunteered 40+ years with the fire organizations. Jim was an Entrepreneur.
Jim and Eleanor Johnson Conlon were married 65 mostly good years. They traveled the world with family and friends. Jim's favorite trip was when they pulled the trailer to Alaska for two months of adventure. He truly adored his family, expressed how fortunate he felt to be endowed with his six amazing kids.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; children, Stacey, Sandra, Ryan, Sydney, Ronna, Cheryl; three grandchildren, Kimberly, Tiffiny, Brett; four great-grandchildren, Kasey, Nickolas, Tanner and Mykayla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Marie; two brothers, Terry and John; and two daughters, Sydney and Cheryl.
He taught to us to swim, ski, love adventure and the outdoors, to have inquiring minds, to be honest and loving.
Thanks, Jim, for being in our lives and hearts-farewell-till we meet!
Private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Condolences can be sent to the family at www.premierfuneral.com.
