William Tony Mascaro
1926 ~ 2010

William Tony Mascaro, 84, our loved and respected Dad and Grandpa passed away on December 29, 2010 in Murray, Utah. He was born on October 30, 1926 in Copperton, Utah to Charles and Caroline Mascaro. Will married Margaret Lloyd on October 4, 1945. Mom always called him a gypsy because he loved to travel. He was a veteran of World War II. Will loved touring the country on his Harley. After retiring from the Salt Lake County Fire Department as an Assistant Battalion Chief, he loved spending time visiting Indian Reservations in the Four Corners. He learned and respected their cultures and spiritual teachings. Survived by his daughters, Kathy (Kelly) Hays; Carol (Larry) Healy; son, Randy Mascaro; grandchildren, Angela, Cory, and Denise; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Lurene and Mary Jane; brothers, Mickey, Tony, Angelo, Joe, Mario, Pete, Louie and Milio; wife, Mary Lou; daughter, Holly (Dave) Cook; grandson, Thomas; great grandson, Colin. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret; six brothers and one sister. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Camp Williams Road. A family only viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the graveside service at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street. www.goffmortuary.com
