Myron Gail Potter
1936 ~ 2008

Myron Gail Potter, 72 passed away in his home Sept. 29th, 2008, in Farmington, UT. Gail was born June 25th, 1936 in Salt Lake City, UT to Myron and Ruby Norine Potter Dec. 14th, 1956 he married his loving wife Wilma Howard. Gail served as a Salt Lake City Firefighter for 30 years, retiring as Captain. He was a loving and devoted husband, brother, father, grandfathers and friend. Gail was always willing to lend a hand. He was the first to show up, worked the hardest and was the last to leave. Gail was an accomplished wood carver and loved to travel. He will be greatly missed by all. Survived by wife Wilma Potter, children Gailene Hooper (Jon), Lori Monson (Kevin), Myron Potter (Martina), and Lisa Lopez (Marcos), sister Midge Gissemen (Milt), brother Vern Potter, 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Viewing to be held at Fairway Chapel, Friday, Oct. 3rd at 1533 N. 1075 W., Farmington, UT 7-8:30 p.m. Services to be held Sat., October 4th at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy. Viewing 1:00 p.m. Service 2:00 p.m.
