In Memory . . .
David Grant Prisbrey
6/3/1959 ~ 9/21/2012
He was a man with an extraordinary aptitude for showing affection and compassion for all things in life. For him, nature was a hyperbole of reality. He was always giving those around him a love for the world. This place was heaven for him, surrounding himself with his loving family as much as possible. As soon as he was able until the time he passed, the majority of his time was spent with his best friend, his wife Shauna. Dave touched and enhanced many people in a very unique way. His job was more than a career for him. His compassionate and affectionate nature was an elaborately perfect fit for a paramedic. He worked and played hard his entire life, never missing an opportunity to hike, ski or run in the mountains, his favorite place on earth. Dave always tried to beat the sun out of bed and outlive the moon at night. He served The Salt Lake City Fire Department for 25 years. He was a calm and big hearted individual and will be remembered by his wife and soul mate, Shauna Prisbrey, his three children, Levi Prisbrey, Milo Prisbrey and Brandy Alderson (Gabe), Mother, LaRee Prisbrey, Sisters, Lorraine Prisbrey, Lorna Anderson (Gary), Valerie Prisbrey, Grandchildren Eli and Lila Alderson, Nephews, Ben Anderson (Katie), Joe Anderson, His long time friend, Rodney Russell, his family at the Fire Department and many, many others. He was preceded in death by his father Grant Prisbrey. Dave left at a time unexpected and unfathomable by everyone around him the young age of 53. He will be greatly missed by all he touched and will leave a void impossible to fill. Booz N Snooze - We love you.
